Reading List

I had the list below passed on to me from a very well-read friend, Cliff Weatherup, who originally hails from East Antrim, but who has been exiled in England for many years now. He has an impressive track record of reading. The BBC believes most people will have only read 6 books from this list.  We are invited to tick those which we have read.

I was wondering about films or musicals based on the book? I don’t think that counts. If it did, I could add Charlotte’s Web, A Town Like Alice, Rebecca, To Kill A Mocking Bird, and a few more.

  5. My daughter tells me that the BBC bit about most people having only read 6 of these books is an “urban legend”. Still, it makes us feel good.

  6. I was pleased to realise I had read 25 off the list, but please dont ask me about any of them! Reading is one thing remembering anything about the plot or characters is another matter.
